Most of them are close to the edge, not miles into their respective region so to speak.

The north west one I went wayyyyy north, into some lady who was shield sliding champion or something and there is a mini game with that....turns out I went past the tower by miles, actually I was so high up the mountain i glided all the way down the map and next to the tower.

I am saving my parts for the armor. So did not want buy anything :)

Oh and I was not talking about the North West Tower. It is essential the West one. Just above the yoga clan hideout.
 
60 shrines, 2 DBs so pretty much halfway but don't want it to end! Still have 3 covered regions to explore, the world is almost unbelievably large :)

Tip for the guardians:

You can take the large ones down with a single ancient arrow directly in the eye (you can buy arrows in the ancient lab in the far north-east. For the small ones in the trials I find it best just to rush them as their close attacks are pretty weak compared to their ranged ones. Sadly, ancient arrows aren't that effective on the small ones

I have been saving those arrows. And did not buy any. But might start using for future. Doing another shrines now. Will be 45 I think. Like you only two DBs still. No rush :)
 
If you're a good shot then there is no point saving them because you'll net more from the guardian in materials than it takes to make them :)
 
I'm really short of rupees, need to go farm lots of meat for meat skewers and sell them, how are you guys getting your cash?
 
Cooking 5 apples nets you 50 rupees so is pretty easy money early on, cooking 5 meat skewers works even better. If you can take down the stone talus mini-boss then that normally nets some decent loot and you can do it with just bombs which are free. Otherwise, the ore deposits seem to respawn and there are several places with the valuable deposits that can drop rubies, sapphires, diamonds, etc.

I haven't done any of those and still have 5k+ rupees just from selling excess meals and gems :)
 
I found a magical looking bunny rabbit (I think?!) with what looked like golden horns up on the cliffs near Kakariko village which when I shot spewed out lots of rupees!

Rinse and Repeat ... profit?
 
I farmed some meat in the colder region to the north west, animals seem drop the second tier meat and above and i have no trouble finding them. The raw tier 3 meat can be sold to a stable worker at either Tabantha Bridge stable or Outskirt stable(can't remember which one) for 100 rupees each but he only takes 3 a day. For the tier 2 meat i've been cooking 4 with some rock salt which sells for 180. If apples are your thing there is an orchard that i ran into that must have had over 20 trees full of the things but i didn't mark it down, you might be able to find it on google

I have around 3K now I think. Nothing to buy at the moment apart from saving up 6K for my guardian armor.

I actually have a ton of gemstones, I could sell some. Is there a place that pays more for gem's or everywhere the same?

I think the price changes depending where you are, bomb arrows are cheaper towards the centre of the map (80 rupees) and extortionate at Rito Village (200 rupees each), as for gem stones, I have a ton of amber but I'm saving them.
