*** Zelda: Breath of the Wild ***

I don't need numbers, I just need a reason to fight them such as the materials they drop contributing towards permanent upgrades more than they currently do.

I get you, the only real reason (besides selling for rupees) is for armour upgrades but in reality you don't need many bokoblin fangs, horns or guts to upgrade them.

Trying to fast travel less, and it's much more fun for exploration.

I was doing exactly this last night travelling everywhere on horseback.

The fast travel medallion thing is another item I'm torn over, it was really handy when I wanted to farm dragon parts in my normal mode play-through or hit a difficult area and could fast travel to town, stock up on whatever was required or improve my armour and then go back to exactly where I was.

I only have limited play time so I'm not sure I'll stick to this long-term and there might be times I "cheat" and have to fast travel but I'm going to try.

I'm imposing a bunch of rules on myself which will make the game harder, I just need to ensure I still have run and it doesn't turn into a slog.

There is no reason such a dock could not render current game at 4K and 60fps. Also no reason why such dock could not do what the PS4 Pro does and offer a lower res and higher fps option.

So you're talking about essentially making the dock an external graphics card, that would push the price up massively I would think.

Sure, why not? Not like everyone has to have it. As mentioned they patented such a thing already.

They can offer the normal switch and dumb dock, then a switch pro which comes with a dock that enables current games to run 4K. They can also offer the dock standalone. Stand alone dock would be £150 at most I would imagine.

Nintendo love a hardware refresh and expensive peripherals so who knows, I just don't think they would see much of a financial benefit to offering 4K to such a small segment of customers, your average Switch owner probably doesn't even know what 4K is.

The sword trials are really annoying I must say. After spending an age harvesting wood from the trees in the beginning and dying on trial number 9 it's out you go and back to the start again. Admittedly my fault for not filling up my hearts. Just don't know if the pain is going to be worth it.

Don't forget if you eat a meal which buffs attack or defence for 30 mins you take it with you into the trial.

Without spoiling too much apart from collecting all the seeds and doing all the shrines what else is there to do as I see some of you with over a 100 hours clocked up. I didn't get that for Witcher 3 with dlc despite doing everything, minus Gwent.

There's snowball bowling and sand-seal racing... :)

I don't think I've even clocked half of that. I've sort of got stuck on what to do and just end up aimlessly making recipes and doing shrines. Gave it a rest now as I've got octopath traveller and Mario kart. Will go back to it at some point though.

I get sidetracked a lot with side quests but especially upgrading armour, need money to unlock the fairies and then collecting all the various upgrade materials which may including farming dragon parts etc.

Have you completed any of the divine beasts?

I started a new playthrough on Master Mode last night, man this is a lot harder...

Anyone else done a MM playthrough?

I've promised myself I won't use Amiibo to help but not sure that'll last unless my ability to parry and dodge significantly improves.
