As mentioned elsewhere, my opty is awol and my fileserver is having a paddy. Doing ok in the circumstances tho and when that opty or its replacement comes back i'll be clocking it up nicely. With any luck it will get replaced with a new better stepping.

I'm curious about our active users, and why it dropped by about 20. I won't be offended if anyone suggests its due to the poll which became a bit of a pr disaster, partly my fault. Having said that, i would like to think some of the 150 people who can't be bothered will be bothered at some point and i'm trying to think of a way to make it easer for them.

I've had virtually nothing but 7xx WUs, and the bigger units I got (~400) were even lower for ppd...

My output has suffered due to some low ppd wus. Got some nice 1495 wus at the moment. Getting about 280ppd per core

All I need is to get 4 running at once for a nice 1120ppd for one machine

Not a happy bunny this week - 3 cores down and crap WUs all week (111 WUs for 7953 points (from EOC - slightly different from Rich's) = 71.65 points per WU - that's absolutely disgusting ).

Will be 3 down for the next 2 weeks too as I don't get back until 11th August and everybody else is offshore so nobody to sort things out for me.

NM, when I get back, I will get everything up and running again and I will be taking delivery of my Dell Inspiron XPS M1710 - the fastest laptop in the world which will, of course, be set straight onto Folding.

I have also ordered an Ultra D and some TCCD RAM for the second X2 3800 which is stuck in a cheapo mobo at the moment at 2.5 (fsb limited by board).
I was thinking I might get one of the cheapo 4000+ SDs from OcUK to put in the cheapo mobo (higher multi should help oc) along with the 1Gb TCCD and put the 2Gb Mushkin Redline in the Ultra D with the X2.

Should boost the numbers a bit

not happy when my average when green but then I found out why (so that were all the big WU were hideing, pesky low spec P4's hoging all the juicy ones for days and days and days)

All I seem to be getting is 36 & 41 pointers. I haven't seen a WU with +400 for over a month it seems.
With just 905 for the week I only moved up 2 places but think it should be more
Anyone know how Core duo will work with FAH, SETI or Climate Prediction?
Hoping to be back over 1,000 pts for this next week.
