Another great week - although we lost some production we've still made large gains on all teams in view and have lengthened our lead on the closest risk.
I have a feeling that the lost production is due to the stats "hiccup" and will be credited back once Stanford have finished their upgrades.

Woo - top single core/single machine thanks to those 2x 622pt-ers

Good work again rich. Just a suggestion - can we have a team 24hr average at the top by this weeks production? It would be nice to see the average steadily increase week by week

Also, you guys in the single machine league with single cores, what systems are they and how long are they on? Particularly Stormrider(OcUK), that's a very nice score . Mines a 2.9 opty on about 16 hours a day.

Its an Athlon64 3200, 1Gig mem, not overclocked, running 24/7.

I've only had good units on 1 core, and being stuck at 2.4ghz isnt doing me any favours.

SB is a mates Venice 3000+ comepletely at stock speeds (1.8ghz) for almost exactly 930 points every week 24/7 obviously

The Venice 3000+ is actually in said mates bedroom.

It is pretty much inaudible, partly due to the case having a 14cm fan in the front and a 12cm in the back, so very good general airflow, but even the graphics card and NB tiny fans can't really be heard spinning at there 6000rpm The CPU fan doesn't actually do anything apart from keep spinning at about 200 RPM just so it doesn't stall.

Mines just sat under my desk, about 2 metres from my bed. Don't seem to notice it, although it has been drowned out by the air conditioner the last few days.

Concerning noise: Currently got 2x 120mm fans on radiator (apex kit ones, delta perhaps?), 1x 120mm in enermax liberty psu, 1x 120mm amber sucking in from front, 2x 80gb hitachi drives, and the chipset of the lanparty deluxe. I think I'll try leaving it on tonight, see how it goes.

How about making your sig background the same colour as the OcUK forum background, or is it supposed to be that slightly off colour just to annoy

And don't tell me I'm just imagining it, it is off colour on all my PC's

Hmm thats interesting it's just the fact that you have a yellow font making the background change colour... wierd.

Ha I've always wondered why that is. Rich is special, gets a slightly off blue sig without any changes to the code(?)

It depends on what browser you're using. On Ff 1.x it looks perfect. On Safari it looks too dark.

Not like it matters though.
