and also check the main GTA IV thread I've been telling people that the gfx were not going to be that impressive, they never have been, well, not on the consoles anyways, I just thought they were a little under par even far my limited expectations, there is really no need to take offence mate, I think the production value of the game is great, and like I said I'm really enjoying it, it's just that I think that the gfx are very poor, just my my opinion is all, I think part of it comes down the the fact that I been playing GTA 3 on the PC for the last couple of weeks ramped up an AA & AF so the transition to GTA IV on the console has been a little hard.

Sign up, then on the right in your profile theres an option to tag it to your LiveID or PSN thingy, can take a while to link them, I was getting errors with the gamertag linking, I went out and all was fine when I came back.

Tried opening the ports but didn't do much. Got in one game so far.
 
Still loving this game, got up early to play it! 5 hours sleep f t w.

In work the now really depressed!

How long does it take to get to the second island?

One opened up for me fairly early in the game. You get an SMG there as a gift. It's the only one I know of so far...
Just keep playing, it doesn't take long for it to open.

Although it's not much of a shop (like the old Ammunation), more of a back street dodgy dealer :D
 
I've yet to see a pigeon to shoot (I see in the Stats 'number of pigeons exterminated')
I assume these are 'hidden packages' since the achievement for getting all HP has a bird as it's picture (?)
 
This game is epic driving fail :(

Whatever happens I simply cannot stop in time. Even the second I notice somebody indicate into my path, brake HARD... nope, crash. Corner on the freeway, brake hard... and crash. The brakes are just SO ineffective.

And where is my bumper cam view gone? What possible reason did they have to take that out?

Use the hand break and press select to change cam angle. :)
