The Countdown Has Begun...... Fallout 3

Fallout 3 got a 9.0 from Gamespot on both the PC and Xbox 360, PS3 version got an 8.5 for the following reasons:

"It's a shame, in light of these impressive design elements, that the PlayStation 3 version is shockingly inferior to the others from a technical perspective. Although the Xbox 360 and PC versions display the occasional visual oddity and bland texture, these nitpicks are easy to overlook. Sadly, the jagged edges, washed-out lighting, and slightly diminished draw distance of the PS3 release aren't so easy to dismiss. We also experienced a number of visual bugs on the PS3. Character faces disappeared several times, leaving only eyeballs and hair; limbs on robots went missing; some character models had an odd outline around them as if they were cel-shaded; and the day-to-night transition may cause odd streaks on the screen as you move the camera around. This version doesn't even offer TROPHIES, whereas the Xbox 360 and PC versions offer Xbox Live/Windows Live achievements."

Is it me ore are the graphics in this game terrible? Maybe I've only see console videos/screenshots but I hope the PC version has better visuals.
 
Anyone ordered from the ladder logo online store who's had any update to there order so far?

Mine's still sat on ordered? hoping that will chnage to posted sooner rather than later :)
 
Got the game today its not too bad, the intro has gfx probs with rendering it tho which i hope theres a fix for it. The start of the game is interesting lol.

Heres a quick shot i took its on high settings but 1024x768 as i forgot to put the res back up.

The gfx arnt maxed as there is a ultra setting but as i said mines on high. About the gfx. They are ok for me as in nice enough ultra might look better but i dont wana risk low fps tho i may try it i duno. Audio is good but in the section i am in, in the screenie provided the voices do overlap a lot which made it hard to clearly hear the one person i want to listen to.

Theres a bully in the screenie and ** given choices to respond when he demands something off you, one of them was to spit in the thing he wanted and give it to him lol. Didnt choose that but might next time hehe.

Edit - Here is a ultra screenie to compare if you guys want to. And at 1280x960 res.

Edit 2 - I like the way you can use the scroll wheel to go from 1st person to 3rd person over shoulder to 3rd person long view or press a key i think its f. Also here is another screenie of when i got my BBgun. :p Btw i must say even tho its oblivion engine i do think the characters faces look rather good in this game so far.

Its considered a competitor so cant say sry. Also i dont have a digi cam or anything to take a pic to show u proof of purchase. Besides i don't like hovis and i dont get bread anymore since i started the gym and watching what i eat.
