Ed Harris' long drop in "The Abyss".

Arnie stripping off his skin in T2.

The section of "The Battle of Britain" where the only soundtrack was the William Walton music.

The first docking scene in "2001".

Bowman dismantling HAL - ditto.

The final volley firing from the Redoubt in "Zulu".

"Get on with it ************s" in "The Wire" (the first of the two) - I prefer it to the end of Omar.

Ripley tooling up to go and rescue Newt.

The battle and castle-burning in the middle of "Ran".

The final battle in the rain in "Seven Samurai".

The final bath scene in the original "Les Diaboliques".

Returning Excalibur to the lake in "Excalibur".

Dear lord that takes me back! :p

Anyway a couple of scenes from the Shield, Dutch catching the serial killer then his reaction after and the season 2 finale. I've never seen a scene like it where you know what every one of them is thinking without anything being said.
 
probably already been said. maybe even by me but the beach landing in apocalypse now. the whole film is the definition of epic

The last episode of DS9, the way they played out the history of the characters.

Had tears in my eyes, looking foward to the last ep of the wire tonight, judging by last nights show, think it'll be in much the same veign.

Dexter - when the Icetruck killer left him the room soaked in blood, and Dexter almost passes out and falls into the massive puddle. Amazing!

The discovery of the Pegasus (and its ensuing face off) is definitley a highlight, as is the atmospheric FTL jump in the rescue of New Caprica. But my faveorite and one that definitely gave me goosebumps comes from the same resuce of New Caprica episode.

The Galactica has since jumped back into orbit and is providing covering fire as the colonial fleet ships are taking off, but is soon overwhelmed by flanking cylon base stars. With the FTL drive off-line and evidently no means of escape, all looks lost as the camera pans out further and further away from the ship with the only sound being the impacting missiles into Galactica's hull.

Suddenly two missiles streak across the screen heading for the nearest base star and Bear McCreary's trade mark drums kick in. The camera pans around and we see that the Pegasus has returned to save the day.

So good i almost fist pumped the air. Who am I kidding I totally fist pumped the air. Predictable? Maybe. But still all kinds of awesome.

The final 5 (well 4 of them) meeting for the first time as All Along The Watch Tower plays is a close second mind.
 
I actually hi-fived my mate when that happened, to put it in perspective i don't think i'd hi-fived anyone for over a decade until that moment. Epic isn't a strong enough word for it.
