Samsung NC10

hmm living in scotland and having done so for most of my life i cant understand glaswegians so should i generalise and say i cant understand any scots?

any more than hearing a liverpudlian or person from the less pleasant parts of london and because i cant understand them declare i cant understand a word the english say?

i think not

well ok maybe not " a word" but he did say he struggled!

anyway DPD came and collected today, put young sammy into a nice padded section then into a tag sealed box. hopefully it will come back within the 5 days.

on no i can quite see the not understanding them, id have problems too and i grew up 30 miles from glasgow. it was the generalisation that every one in scotland speaks in the same incomprehensible manner. accents and word use is as varied as it is across any other part of the uk.

sorry its just a pet peeve of mine

lol, i know what you mean tho, my dad is from yorkshire and still speaks proper northen and hes lived down south for 40 yrs!!

just image the drive as is with acronis or something. it works across networks so you can (as i did) store the image on another PC).

I was just browsing on my nc10 running off the battery and it turned itself off. Tried turning it back on to no avail so i plugged the charger in and it came on but the battery light is constantly flashing from green to red every second?

If i unplug the charger it powers off instantly..

Has my battery just popped its clogs?

Do you guys find these laptops adequate for web design?

I have my old shuttle that was top stuff back in the day! (3ghz p4, 1gb ram, 9800pro running off my 32" hd screen, only 720 resolution.

Would these run dreamweaver, fireworks, firefox okay?

The reason i ask is because i'm really getting into web design and want to get rid of the shuttle and use the laptop primarily.

Heh, well I'd like to think it runs FF. And I can't imagine you'd have any problems with DW and FW but I'm not speaking from experience.

I wouldn't *replace* it for what you're currently running though. 32" to 10" - that's a big difference. It would compliment (edit: complement duh!) it nicely though.

I was just looking at pictures of it and didn't realise quite how small it was!

I'm just looking to own a laptop really and get my TV on the wall :)
