Using 62 here, seems just about perfect, not too far, not too close, I can live without panning round the cockpit, but no diaganol views gives some real bad blind spots at times!

I can't take anymore singleplayer career. I am bored to tears..

Anyone know if u can take a picture inside the car so you can see the dash? Can't seem to do it.

You can't, sadly, not sure why they took that out/didn't put it in, but I've pressed my camera to the glass a few times like a filthy old man at a hotel door spyhole!

again - why does the wheel in-car look so naff ? it hardly turns ?

No idea, it isn't too far off how much the MS wheel turns. I'm guessing they did it so they didn't need to model the hand movements?

All installed fine now, as you guys suggested, the fix was to NOT install disc 2 via dashboard – doh!

Loving the game it really is amazing and put GT5 to shame imo, not a massive improvement over Forza 2, but that game was pretty much perfect for me anyway

One gripe I have, is that the PI doesn’t seem to work correctly, unless I’m missing something – for example, the game will happily allow my class B car to run in the class F races…. odd

I got confused about this too - I assume you are talking about the PI rating that appears on the event 'posters'?

Ignore them, they only show what roughly the other cars in the race will have, it's not a requirement.

Some races do have Class/PI restrictions, but not too many.

Is it worth investing in a steering wheel for this and Dirt 2? Would it give me any kind of edge over using my joypad?

I wouldnt play a driving game without a wheel, to begin with youll be a second or two slower per lap, mainly because it takes much longer to go from lock-to-lock, but, once you get used to the wheel and pedals youll be quicker, as youll learn to drive smoother and imo enjoy the game much more.

I just hope my Fanatec arrives soon.

Yeah, I did the exact same thing and it wouldn't install inside the game. Had to delete then go for it

Anyone else had a problem with the Premium Theme and Cars not downloading? Entered my code, it seemed to download, but don't see them, and on entering the code again said it's already been used.

It makes it a more immersive game, but reckon the jury is out on whether it makes you faster, slower or doesn't make any difference at all to the times

Finally done Montserrat mini reverse on F class after 4 hours of 2nd place finishes. After bashing every car on the way to 2nd place on the first lap I trailed the lead car all the way until the last corner and instead of overtaking him I drove straight in to him and smashed him off the track. Should really be called Forza Destruction Derby 3.

The proving ground tracks. Is there one that is just a free roam around the whole thing as that was the impression I got from the pics, or is it just limited to the course layouts and the drag strips?

The large rectangle one with the rounded corners is pretty much an free roam track.

Stock reventon? Just took mine down a long straight and hit about 170 on Sunset Infield, should have my veyron very soon, so will take it to le mans

Can anyone clarify what needs to be done for the solid gold achievement? It states finish first in all races in season mode, but that would mean you can't go back and retry the races, I want to do it on hard ai but not if I'm going to have to do the whole season again for the solid gold achievement.

Anything you miss can be done again from the Event list
