No you'll simply prove if there is or is not an afterlife.
A god does not require an afterlife (nor do they promise it) only the religions that need a bribe or a threat use it.
OK then, why do you dismiss the Hindu books, or the Buddhist teachings, or any other religion?
What makes you so sure that yours is the correct religion?
Oh yea, I always forget about that. If you believe that God is real, then kill yourself and send me a postcard from heaven (or hell).
The monotheistic religions are firmly based around the beliefs of heaven, hell and an eternal soul. Proving that any of these are real would go a long way towards convincing me that God is too.

i gave you the answer. You want proof of god so i told you to read quran and then you dissmis it.
as an athiest what is the point of going to the pain and suffering in life when you have no reward at the end.

mine is however a pdf just like my bible and torah simply because I prefer to read on a screen. (and it's nice to have all three major english translations easily comparable)

So was Islam. Muhamed was a man. Same with christianity and judaism.

you cant just take one verse and come to a conclusion. there will be other verses related to this. also we have scholers to go to to get the quran explained becuase we havnt been to islamic universities or anything similar.
Thats why you have so many different explanations for the bible becuse every joey is just making up a conclusion to suit his own needs.
The proper way to get the quran explained is to go to a scholer becuase they put their whole life behind the quran to explain it and reasearch it etc their islamic knowladge is vast

Also, I prefer to do my reading online. It is easier, quicker, and means I dont need a library of books to flick through page after page to find whatever I want to read.
Something being written online doesnt make it any less valid than the bible or quran already are (nothing at all in those books is valid in any way whatsoever, people with a functional brain already realise that it is just fictional myth).

chrisitans, jews and muslims believe the the books were bought down from the heavens.
