I made my own squat and bench stands as it happensNothing special but they hold the weights perfectly, Although yes walking back and forth a few steps to be clear of them does get on my nerves on occasion
Probably not the safest way to do it either but it works for now.
Finally got around to making a decent flat bench a couple of weeks ago to go with the squat /bench standsActually I'll throw a couple of pictures up when I get chance

First things first, I am a safety concious person so I wouldn't use them if they were not safe, They may not look up to much but I assure you they take the weight perfectly, I've so far had 360Kg on the bench and stands with no problems although yes the stands would tip if I pushed them with weight on (So I just won't push) I do need to make a better set of stands (with a sturdier base) but those work fine for now.
I can also use the bar and stands together comfortably for inverted rows too as I made the bench + bench press hight at the same hight as my old gym's equipment
which is perfect, Just enough room for a rucksack if and when i need it for extra weight.Total cost ~£25 for all the wood, screws and ready mix for the posts! and the bench doubles up as a seat outside when we are having a drink in the garden
It's 4 foot long so a couple of people can get on it.

Easy as that.
