Barely anybody i talk to has heard of them... they're still around you know, released an album last year i think.

I've listened to a Danish band called Mew for a good many years but nobody seems to have heard of them. I think they're quite big in their native country and around Europe and have definitely played in the UK, but I think they fit in with the trend of this thread

@alex: That's my point, they should know that but to tons of people the only bands that spring to mind when you say 'late 90's' are Oasis and Blur.
I rather enjoyed Saturday to be honest, hesitant even to call Moseley Shoals their best album.
Bayside, mainly so they headline tour over here.

They've done some cracking stuff since Moseley Shoals/100 Mile High City (the big time days) but for consistency nothing will ever match Moseley Shoals.
