As a follow up for my last head hanging low post, I did indeed get a response from the mighty Jay. So. Just to confirm, if you forget your brain when sending back the motherboard, and leave out the return details, just email the confirmation email you got way back when, and you are sorted. Now to wait for my replacement board (or, as above, another label.;))

I just threw away my second label. I honestly don't know what they are doing up three in ASUS. My board arrived yesterday, and was meant ot be processed today, so it looks like Tuesday it will be arriving back to me. Who knows, I might get another few labels to keep me occupied while I wait.

i think you guys are getting our labels?

mine was supposed to be posted out on monday, its friday and not received it yet, i emailed on wednesday and he said it should be here before the weekend, i emailed today and he said it should be here tomorrow.

it doesnt take 6 days for a letter from england to reach scotland, theres been a **** up at asus i reckon

Lol ye and you get another brand new deluxe

what you on about?? you asked for it so i asked for your address so i could send you the label, how else am i supposed to give it you? and how is me knowing your address going to get me another brand new deluxe?

I sent my board back last tuesday using the UPS sticker they sent me. I STILL haven't received my replacement board yet!!!

I phoned asus on friday who claimed they would phone me back but never. Today (saturday) i get another returns label. What drugs are they on at asus?

If i buy a ford car from a ford dealer I don't need to export it to ford in the usa to fix it. Why should we have to sent our boards to asus when we bought from ocuk?

So im now a week without my pc come monday. I have to go to a friends house or library to keep checking my emails, a game subscription i cannot use. I would have bought another board (NOT from ocuk) if i'd have known asus would drag their heels this long.

just phoned asus today and they said they dont have any p8p67 deluxe in stock thats why ive not had a reply from them. and said it will be a week.

so for ive been waiting 17 days so if i wait another week plus the shipping time will be a total a month

surprise surprise my letter and lable came today after them telling me it will be a week or so lol

Just received my label and letter this morning..been waiting a month...don't know if i can be arsed to swap now though..not had any problems with my board.

My new board arrived today & it wont boot properly. I get overclocking failed even tho its not overclocked. In fact i reset the cmos & removed the battery and load optimised.

I should have kept the old one at least it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in the same boat.

it is flaky at stock, which is why i am wondering if these are completely new boards or if they are simply reflowing the old boards with the replacement controller on.

at least if yours is 100% dead you can easily get it tested, mine is simply unstable and so long as i do not play certain games etc is fine so I suspect they will simply test it as working.

Mine wont even get past overclock failed press F1

I've tried everything from previous threads & even using the exact settings from my previous motherboard. One thing that differs tho is when i press F10 to save & exit it doesnt restart itself until i press the power button.

I even tried changing pcie slots & memory slots. I've asked for a refund & rma

Thats the very reason that i am not returing my rev2 board for an upgrade, i don't need the ports at the moment, i replaced the m/boards in my other 2 computers with MSI boards (was going to get asus boards but thought better off it because of their customer service)

To return my board & 'wait' for a replacement would cost me more than the price of a new board (used every day for my work)

My board & 2500k chip will happily run at 4.7gig 24/7 & i have taken it up to 5.3gig. Don't want to end up with a 'new' board that will not let me o/clock or won't post.

Oh, & they sent me another return label in the post today !!!

anybody have that asus support e-mail in UK?
im either blind or simply cant find that e-mail

If you actually want to contact the man who is handling the Asus Sandy Bridge motherboard replacement scheme in the UK, his email address is [email protected]

He is based in their Hemel Hempstead office, and is actually a very helpful chap.

Good Luck! :)

my replacement board should be here tomorrow, lets hope they are not re-chipping old boards, as whoever gets my old board is going to be raging.

it would take as many half an hour of constantly turning the system on and off before it finally booted into BIOS then windows.

it resulted in me just leaving my pc on 24/7 after having to go through hell restarting it a few times.

couldnt get any overclock either due to constant overclocking failed at stock, had many ram problems too.

in future i wont be buying anything new again, will wait 6-12 months before going into new technology to make sure all problemshave been ironed out.

is there any new BIOS updates for the new boards?
