*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

So randomly my phone has decided to start boot looping on Cyanogen 7.03. Is there any other way to getting around this without reflashing the rom? hopefully i left the rom on the sd card.

£108 from mazuma, so maybe a little more elsewhere, if its a minter maybe £150 on ebay but you can take risks selling on there, tbh i probably wont sell mine when i come to upgrade keep it as a backup but as it is there isnt anything really out there that i currently want to upgrade to, other than the 3d phones theres nothing else really that jumps out to me, like a lot of the older desire users i was quite keen to get a sgs2 but then when i saw one in the flesh at work i was somewhat dissapointed......

Ive had mine since the first week they were released and still have an unhealthy attatchment to it :-), yep ive been thinking of upgrading to the sgs2 but something just keeps stopping me from going for it.

The only phone out there im realy intrested in is the nexus prime and we dont know 100% what thats going to be like yet.

I will probably upgrade to the Nexus prime next year, sure it wont be new tech by the time i get it but it will still be damn fast and supported by google!

I know most of the Desire users on here have upgraded but i am on a 24 month contact and require some help!!

My phone since new has been excellent apart from the boot loop problem which HTC fixed with a new motherboard, however today it's all gone to ****. Went to use it and switched on 3G while waiting for it i just put it down for a few seconds, went back to it and it had froze buttons didn't work, screen wouldn't move even long back press didn't kill it.

So (this is were i think i might have broke something) i pulled the battery out, popped it back thinking it just need to restart and it wouldn't turn on!!! thinking that the battery might be flat (it was low at the time) i plugged the charger in but it would do anything (No orange light) and quick google and i find a way to get it charging (Without the battery in, plug the charger in which makes the green and orange led flash then insert the battery) this made the orange led stay on and after a few hours the green led came and i thought OK it should work now.... but it doesn't :-(

Anyone got any ideas?

The phone is rooted/s-off and running Oxygen 2.3.1 so without some life in it to put a RUU on i don't really want to send it to HTC.

Thanks for any help you lot can provide.

James

Download it from HTC's site (its an optional download), connect your phone and install HTC sync, then you should be able to run it.
Better instructions on the site.

I would suggest you also take a look at XDA forums, as there are lots of guides to rooting and using custom roms there too :)
