GAME lose another supplier

Funny how me and my mate was only talking about what would happen if EA pulled away from Game last weekend. They pulled the same stunt with The Last Story pre orders. Oh dear, good bye Fifa and Battlefield.

I reckon it's a rift not GS/Game going under. Vultures on this forum lol.

The letter in the article states that game have decided not to stock the title as it's not financially viable to them at this present time probably due to EA ******* that they are only offering 30day terms whereas other suppliers would offer 60/90 day terms.

It doesn't actually state that EA are not willing to supply the product to game. It's the bigger picture Game are looking at irrespective of how well a title does if the terms offered by EA are not manageable then they will not stock it.

its down to credit, probably the company is heading south and EA don't want to lose £1000s in invoices yet to be paid and are asking for shorter credit terms

Problem is even if this isn't directly due to financial issues, it's caused their stock price to go down, and people to cancel pre-orders. People are already rushing to cash in on loyalty points and gift cards.

It also has a knock on in their second hand market, think of how many games would have been traded in towards Mass Effect 3.

:mad::mad:

So no one in the UK is doing the collectors edition of ME3?

Edit: Nevermind, rainforest :o - nope seems they're out too.

Actually so annoyed right now, can't get it anywhere

I just popped out at lunch to pick up some PSN cards with what little I had left on loyalty cards.

I did the same with my £40 trade in credit (XBL/PSN points). The staff there said they were flying off the shelves. I bet most people with credit and a brain are doing the same!

So...whats the story exactly? Why are they going under?

I see that suppliers are stopping shipments, and their shares have taken a hit.

But what is actually happening at the company thats making all this happen? Why are they in trouble?

=\

How do you use Reward Card points in-store? Unsure if I still have my card, must be somewhere...

Unfortunately online their PSN cards have all sold out - only download versions which Ive never used - anyone vouch that they work? Assume they just give you a code to use on PSN which is fine by me...

ps3ud0

You need to have the card with you to use them in store.

I am very sad, cant get the N7 of Mass Effect anywhere now :(

Jcb33.

If it was looking grim after the Ubisoft vita games and Last Story situation then losing Mass Effect 3 like the only AAA title coming out in the next 3 months is looking death knell time!

It's going to become a self fulfilling prophesy now, they've now gone and alienated the remainder of their customer base who will now in future go and pre order elsewhere (and then not come back) as well as anyone who has any reward points is going to dump them in a Northern Rock style run on Game therefore giving what little stock they've got left away for free!

I'm pretty happy that other retailers have the N7 Collectors Edition of ME3, have cancelled my pre-order for the vanilla version to get that instead, as I was too late originally to order the N7 edition from Game I think.
