It doesn't have a backlight .It still has to be backlit though. So there is a lot less light than on an LCD but it's still there.
Well I've joined the white s3 club. So what are the essential changes in settings people are making?

Exactly; they're light emitting diodes, they don't need a backlight. This is why i can't understand why there's any sort of glow at all when the screen is supposed to be entirely black![]()
I've seen some comparison pictures with other phones and the S3 screen looks very pink when on a white background, does this affect all screens or just a few?
My Pebble Blue pre-order from O2 has shipped and should be with me Wednesday so the text message from O2 says....
