Playstation 4 being announced February 20th?

As above, really digging the design. Dare I say, looks like the perfect pad. Web browsing will be so much better on PS pad WITH THAT TOUCH PAD TOO.

Dam caps!!!

These are only devkit versions. I'm sure the real thing will be shinier. :D

I shouldn't moan really, it's all down to the games in the end...as long as there's must have games to buy then it has my vote.

Shame Nintendo, Sony and MS can't make one super sexy console between them and then we'll be able to enjoy all the big name games and only have to fork out for one peice of hardware :(

Looking at the images I do hope the finished product doesn't look anything like the pictures released so far. It's hideous, it looks like a crappy knock off made by Mad Catz or something. :p

At least it looks like there's a headphone socket in the controller. I don't actually mind the look, but I'm sure it'll be different to a degree when we see the final design.....plus that touchpad might actually end up being useful if it corresponds to a point on-screen like its aspect ratio suggests.

Yeah I've read about the tech before. It's still speculation but it just might be what they're planning. I don't know what it would be like to stream the media but if it works it would be great to have BC with the new console.

Btw Sony paid $380m for Gakai last year. Quite an investment!

If they do stream PS3 games, I wonder how they will go about doing it? For example, I hope it's not the case of buying those games again on their service just to play them on the PS4? I'd be happy if you could just insert a PS3 disc in and that basically validates you own the game and will then proceed to stream it. I'd prefer it without the streaming granted, but can't win them all, but not having to buy the games again would be a real winner!

Regardless I could just carry on playing them on my PS3 but you know... one machine for it all is nice :P

Yeah it might mean purchasing again though at a reduced price a bit like the store is now on ps2 titles. Who knows? The news flying around atm is that some word on this will be revealed on Wednesday. Like most of us though, the media are just guessing.

Exciting times! :)

I think it'll be unlimited access with Playstation Plus. They will want to keep that going but they can't offer any PS4 games for free at launch.
