What film did you watch last night?

Dazed & Confused
It's middle America, 1976, and school's out for summer. The kids of the town are determined to mark the end of term with a celebration, but the party planned at one of the student's houses is cancelled when his parents find out and decide to stay home. The result? A long hot night of pot, kegs, Aerosmith, driving around in cars, and partying in the woods.

I absolutely love this film, allways makes me feel good.
10/10

Harold & Kumar Christmas - awful. But was nice to see how much they have changed since the original.

3/10

That's how I described it to my Wife to get her to watch it with me!! (Point Break is her Favorite Film), She did enjoy F&F, which was a bonus!! :D

Right, I've added PB to my Lovefilm list, so I can see what the fuss is all about.

Hmm, directed by Kathryn Bigelow of Hurt Locker fame. Interesting.

Odd Thomas.....surprisingly good. 8/10.

I agree. I was pleasntly surprised and it was pretty close to the book too. I went in expecting a low budget travesty of one of my favourite books and came out hoping the same team does the rest of the series. :)

Watched these over the weekend:

Hunger Games Catching Fire - more of the same really, enjoyed the first so enjoyed this, decent film. 7/10

Prisoners - Thoroughly enjoyed this and even the other half managed to stay awake till late watching it. Best film I've seen recently although maybe could have been a little shorter. 8/10

Django Unchained.

Really enjoyed it, the first half of the film definitely the better half. The second half felt a little dragged out but no more than any other highly rated film. Would happily watch it again, 9/10!

Like Simian's wife, Point Break is one of my favorite films of all time.

Yes, the parachute scenes are rather unrealistic in their duration and they open their 'chutes way to low to survive in reality, but who gives a toss? Great film with a great vibe, cast and soundtrack :)

It's like the first race in F&F, supposed to be 10sec maximum!! actual screen time is about 5 minutes (like the Runway in F&F6 which is about 50 miles ling!! :D )

Riddick 4.5/10. I'm a big fan of Pitch Black and so was hoping for more of the same. There is a nice link to The Chronicles of Riddick (Karl Urban cameo) but after that it gets rather dull. Very obvious, Riddick borders of supernatural, very sexist with the treatment of the lesbian character and, unforgiveably for me, there is a complete lack of tension with regards to the creatures. They're just not as terrifying as the hammerheads in PB.
Strangely out of place topless shot from Katee Sackhoff too.
