Couldn't tell you, they phoned me up to say the starter motor had been replaced but needed the shocks replacing at £616..... worth a call to bmw insurance?

How low do you guys think a 10k 130i will drop in the next 12-18 months?

I've went from wanting a 330ci but I could live with a 1 series beting a bit newer.

My dad's about to lease a 330d and is unsure whether it's worth paying the extra £14 to include maintenance in the deal. He only does around 6000 miles per year and the lease is only a 2 year deal - is he likely to need to get a service done in that period?

The cost / benefit threshold of diesel is usually from around 15k+ miles a year.

They are not well suited to short journeys (Though at 6k a year for 2 years I suspect it will be somebody elses problem once it ruins its DPF).

There equivalent petrol engine would cost him £60 per month more so even doing just 6k miles per year, he's much better off with a diesel than petrol.

Depends on how that 6K is made up, my XFS has done 10K in 18 months, it does almost no short journey just long ones, just not very often, so the DPF gets regenerated quite happily.

By equivalent petrol engine you mean 328i right?

Does he need/want the size? A 135i is similar money ( bit cheaper on 6k miles) and though I'd expect the 330d to be a great car the petrol 1 would be a bit more suited to short journeys and low miles? Hellofa ugly but hey ho

I have already ordered a full interioir led kit and number plate lights for my 2004 e46 coupé but not sure on the headlights. Anyone able to recommend me the correct bulbs to replace my sidelight and headlight bulbs with bright white led ones? It has angel eyes.
