Watch Dogs - Ubisoft's Third Person Shooter

It is ridiculous the amount of hate the game gets here. Thank god for neogaf where people actually play the game and many are able to appreciate it.

its so hard to find multiplayer games in this, ive only been invaded once the entire time ive played. and takes forever to find online decryption or races and when i do there's only ever the minimum amount of players then someone leaves after 1 game and its back to waiting again! youd think a new game would have full games in session!

As an attempt to stop the constant bitching about graphics vs GTA:

I discovered the awesomeness that is Spider Tank last night...

I rarely find any games, yet get invaded an average of four times every hour at the minute.
It's a pain in the bum as I can never find the bloody hacker in time, yet whenever I'm hacking them they just walk straight up to me as if they know exactly where I am... is there a signal strength meter I'm missing, or something??!!

I do wonder if people have modified the game in some way to make it obvious or if you've just done something stupid and he saw you.

Last couple I did were complete polar opposites. I hid in a car for a bit and the guy went past. When it got down to the last stage I bailed and circled the building to keep away from him till I won. Next 1, the instant I start the hack, the guy instantly runs round the corner, lifts up the Forklift and spots me.

The only games like that, that I can think off are linear fps games. Really don't get the big fuss about the graphics. They are gorgeous and its pretty much one of the nicest looking games I've played on PC.

And anyway, the point I was making was in reply that PCs are much more powerful from e3 2012. They really aren't much more powerful.

Midrange cards should be somewhat more accessible and that what's important. Also gtx780/R290 are also priced better if you compare them to $1000 Titan at launch.

Well consoles define the market I'm afraid.

True, but we are judging a game on the PC platform that was SUPPOSED to be PC focused. On the other hand, Sony's money do look very tempting. :)

PS: Cannot connect to online gaming, some sort of NAT error. Only some type in which I must get to a point while cops and a player I think, tries to stop me. GG Ubi.

Apart from the slight performance issues have to say enjoyed the game. Couple frustrating parts but tbh don't like stealth missions. Not a game I will play again but not a bad game.

Getting bored now tbh. Tail this guy without being spotted, follow a briefcase without being spotted. The missions have started to get really dull, halfway through Act 2.

It is still quite fun to mill about in the game, but the storyline is absolute guff

Given how it's every player I've tried hacking, I'd say it's haxorz/modding.
There is simply no way they could spot me walking up to them or standing still in a crowd and, last I checked, you cannot profile someone through a wall!!

I don't even know what's happening in the storyline. I'm just not interested enough to follow the narrative.

Neither do I tbh. The game seems to be exactly the same as AC4 in terms of the narrative not following the actual gameplay....You see a cutscene where 2 people talk(well, mumble) about finding his sister for example, then an objective pops up at the top of the screen saying 'follow the briefcase' or 'set up the ambush' or something. It has practically nothing to do with the scene I just saw!

Using cameras to profile you by any chance? I hate when people get beat online in a game and automatically think they are being cheated somehow lol

I've lost interest in it. I'm trying to get through the story missions a bit at a time to see if it gets any better.

I got bored too. It's just not fun.

I'm going to refrain from buying the division until i see proof they haven't ****ed that up too.

lol at them physics, a poor mans GTA 5.

GTA was written for one generation of platform that rockstar knew inside out. everything worked perfectly It's not out on next gen because it requires a lot more effort than ubisoft put in.

I think the biggest problem is people keep wanting it to be a nextgen GTA.

that is like the only one of those missions. couple of chases in cars but the story line is one of the better parts of it.

Infact I enjoyed the storyline it's not till i stopped following it i started noticing all the cack.
