ISIS and Islamic militants - discussion

Indian ocean looks good. Badcompany, send me some videos from your collection and then send the police around.

Now what to pack.

These goverments should take charge of stamping this extremism out. The uk and us shouldn't go flying in all the time to 'save the day' and endangering our people.

If our friends and allies, the Norwegians could bare to part with it, I have the ideal place for IS to have their 'Caliphate'. All IS fighters taken alive, and other hard line Sunni asshats subscribing to a similar ideology should be given free one way travel to this, their 'promised land' in my opinion.

It's what they want isn't it?

Don't give them a nice island. Just stick them in an active volcano. Slowly.

kinda hard to enforce but any family that knows of a member that has left to join IS should tell the authorites, and if they dont and are found out should be either deported*/arrested for terrorism.

But what really p***es me off is if they are so corageous for what they believe why do they all wear balacavas or cloth around there face to hide.

* deported if not originally from the uk

Yea would definitely like to see that happen, there is no excuse for anyone in the UK to be supporting or harboring any of these scum. even if someone in their family is planning on leaving and going there and the family know about it, it's their job to report them.

The argument put forward by Bush and Blair however was (from memory) that Iraq had them, and could put them into use within something like 45 minutes.

Which so far there has not from memory, been any evidence that Iraq even had any that they could put together within days at the time of the invasion (practically anyone with a chemistry degree can make the chemical component of chemical weapons, but getting them into a usable form for a weapon, and into shells etc is harder and takes a lot of time*).

I think that all that has been found to date were shells that were empty and so badly corroded that they had probably not been usable for years at the time of the invasion.

No one disputes that Iraq had the weapons in the 80's, but we were told they had them ready to use at the time of the invasion.

*IIRC many chemical weapons are very harsh on the delivery systems and have to be stored long term separately from the the actual delivery shell.

I was chuckling at that last night. Some dude wearing a Renault t-shirt. People here don't even wear those!

Ah no but Abdul isn't a terrorist he's just going to Syria to work as a medic at - hes not going to join IS....

Just like when his cousin went to Pakistan to study in a religious school and definitely wasn't joining the Taliban in Afghanistan.
