AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Owners Thread

@Logue, I had the same problem. But when I changed the color depth settings in CCC from 10 to 8 = no more flickering! Could try and see if that helps you or not.

The setting is under CCC>My Digital Flat-Panels>Properties>Color Depth

I can only choose from 8 and 6
 
Hi matt,

I was running @ 200% = 4k in bf4, all smooth no problems.
then bang it crashes with the message below, and now after few restarts it just don't feel the same. not as smooth.

Any ideas what it means mate please :eek:

How much video memory is it using at those settings?

You make me wonder... It may have been after I tried whacking this up that I started getting horrible performance needing a reinstall.

Does it play smooth again when you drop back down to 100%?

I would test it on mine, but not after taking ages to reinstall...
 
Had it upto 1100 core and 1625 memory so far using afterburner and after a good 30 mins of heaven looping gpu1 max temp was 53 and gpu2 62

Never heard my psu fan run so hard!

Starts off ok, then the smooth play just don't feel great.
Has been fine since that crash.

Matt it just come up with the same message and crashed, never had this before! hmmm odd..

Any ideas matt ?

Try it without using the resolution scaling.

Just tried it at 150, 135, and 100. did the same thing. very strange and annoying lol as it's be great till now :p

Edit, just tried the 295x2 on it's own with out the 290x, and it also just crashes.. how odd..

i now try fresh driver install
