Higher end Continentals are good. Stay well away from their cheap ones like the Rally - even just for a spare - quality control is a massive issue with them. What tubs is everyone running?
My clicky finger is ready to hit buy on the Conti Competition's (25mm). But please let me know if anyone has better experience with other tyres or what your thoughts are
Ribble Conti Comp 25mm (nobody has them in stock!) - http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/ro...s-continental-competition-tubular/conttuba325
Vittoria Evo CX III 23mm glued with Vittoria Mastik One.
It's spring (almost) but it's started already, magpie attack season! Some people think putting eyes on the back of their helmet stops it... Nothing stops it, all the animals are out to get you here!

Had fun on the way home from work. Came across the aftermath of 2 cyclists who had collided being tended to by someone else. Hung around to help out...
Campag Khamsins from Merlin at £90ish.
at this rate everyone on this thread will have some
Sounds like a good deal James, although I can really rate the Khamsins. Mine have done nearly 900 miles and going strong! Guy at my work liked them and has now bought some Zonda's. I believe others here are running them and the Scirocco's which are around your budget but quite a big rim (also out of stock on Wiggle). Anyone tried the Vento's? Seem like one up on the Khamsin's?
Email to Rose and Continental to see about getting a replacement - it is a gp4000 sII - 180 miles on it. running 95/100 psi.
I wouldn't worry, I've done 1k on mine and still doing grand on poor Yorkshire roads.I just ordered these for my bike... worrying!
180 miles for any tyre isn't right, so they should replace them without an issue.

I'm gonna be ordering more soon, they're a lot faster and safer than the stock Giant ones I got with the bike.
Are cyclist allowed to go three abreast on the road
