Battlefield V performance

Waiting for feedback first before deciding whether to pick it up when released or wait a while until it's discounted :).
Is DLSS there too to help performance is something I'm interested in?

So - how is RT performing!?
better than expected :).
(someone got to be positive ).
Would like to try it now as have lots of spare time but not paying the monthly fee.
Seems buggy generally so I think waiting a few months would probably be good. I reckon they can optimise performance a bit more too.
I'd like to see DX 11 VS DX 12 and also DX12 vs RT on and DLSS on (if available)

Having survived an excruciatingly slow patch update, we are testing "Battlefield V" with DirectX Ray-tracing and NVIDIA RTX enabled, across the GeForce RTX 2070, RTX 2080, and RTX 2080 Ti, augmenting the RTX-on test data to our Battlefield V Performance Analysis article. We began testing with a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card with GeForce 416.94 WHQL drivers on Windows 10 1809. Our initial test results are shocking. With RTX enabled in the "ultra" setting, frame-rates dropped by close to 50% at 1080p.

:p

its prettier now at half the fps
in a fps shooter game ;)
Well, the 4K owners often talk about not minding to change(lower) settings. RT On and ultra low settings may be the way forward, even at 1080P :D.
To be honest, I want to try it for myself and play with the different options including the RT quality slider (or whatever it's called). People are dying to rip it apart so much that I'd take the early impressions with a pinch of salt.

Is RT going to be mandatory for multiplayer?I can see RT giving people a competitive advantage
