the extra fan is a 92mm noctua and yes it does a fantastic job cooling down the mobo, chipset and m.2 especally, i noticed a 20+ degrees drop with it installed, sure the looks factor isnt there but i dont mind that, i care about cooling and a fan in this location does a really great job.

before the fan was installed my temps were

mobo around 60 degrees
chipset peaked at 81 degrees
m.2 would normaly hit around 58 degrees

after the fan was installed and tuned in a bit

mobo around 40 degrees
chipset down to 51 degrees
m.2 peaks at 38 degrees

so yeah definatly worth it for cooling XD

edit

have got access to a photo studio at work so will have some really good quality pictures in the next day or two

Looks very nice, still on the fence what to get, cancelled my Mjolnir backing.

i'd still go for the dan a4 maybe not a 3900x cpu as it does run warm, but hey i wanted to see what could be done and am pleased with the end result :)
its a 1440p pocket rocketship.

concider the mjohir if you want beefer cooling, dont quote me but doesnt the mjohir support 120/240mm aio's?

Looks fab, love the cable management. Really nice build, hope you feel chuffed.

Sat there when the Kickstarter launched, unsure, then watched Optimum Tech review and thought 'NOPE' especially when I saw what the case design did to the riser cable, and Ali's comments on the cooling performance

Yeah i was underwhelmed with that also, i'm favouring the a4 again now but have been looking at Sliger cases also.

The one i was looking at with both sets of panels would cost over £300 but this is smaller, cheaper, seems to be well made and i think i could cool my 9700k fine it and stick my reference blower back on my 1080ti.

The Sliger looks interesting, though larger than the Dan, 11 litres I think? I hadn't seen it before.

I think the Mjolnir was going to be closer to £400 with shipping, which is just madness for any small, or large case.

I'm still tempted by Mjolnir.

It would look great with a glass panel on the motherboard side, vented panel on the GPU side, and a 120mm AIO cooling the CPU. And there aren't many SFF cases where that set-up is an option. There's the Raijintek Ophion, but the vented panels are apparently awful. And there's the Sliger SM560, but it isn't exactly cheap in Europe once you add a window, the AIO kit, and shipping to the UK (€292, or £245). The LZ7-XTD is another consideration, albeit quite different to the other cases mentioned.

I'm wavering on price. £300 is a lot for a case, but if they hit every stretch goal (currently ~£12k short of the last one) then I think the base bundle represents decent value. Most of the competing cases cost ~£250 after shipping and taxes anyway.

I’ve been looking into this a lot today. Considering the reviews, I cannot justify the price. Needs to be at least 50% less to be something I’d consider. If I was going for this kind of case right now, I’d be looking at the Loque Ghost.
I have a Ghost, Best case I have ever had - can't recommend it highly enough. (I also have a Dan). Turn the internals upside down so the fan is at the top and you don't even need to use a top hat to get reasonable cooling.
