Seeing a few reports on Reddit from folk with the Exynos CPU reporting the phone getting very hot with very few apps open, hope we're not going to see another year where the UK/European models are by far sub par to the Snapdragon ones...
Surely this was always going to be an issue at some point? Smaller chip etc.
I get that, I really do. Was always a fan of the pixel OS when it worked properly. Very clean and streamlined. I tried a pixel 5 but it was underwhelming for me. Had they offered a decent flagship I'd probably have stuck with it, but they keep refusing to give people what they wanted so ultimately people are now switching sides. I don't think Google see the pixel range as flagship anymore, so it's down to Samsung, none of it's rivals are particularly compelling.
