What film did you watch last night?

Conjuring 3 - The Devil Made Me Do It - 6/10

Didn't feel connected to the last few movies, more of a standalone tale. Plot was decent enough and kept my attention, jump scares while present were not as prevalent as a lot of horror thankfully.

Feel about the same as I did with the last sequel, it was good enough but unlikely to watch again.

Nobody (2021) - 9 / 10

Not the nobody I was expecting but still somebody worth watching.

Stylish with great action scenes, strong acting, great use of music, a hero who you can root for and the right amount of drama and comedy to keep it entertaining throughout.

The plot isn’t original and it feels like two movies stuck together, but it all makes sense in the end.

Aquaman - 2/10

This was bad, really bad. Terrible acting and stupid storyline. Atlantis was supposed to look awe inspiring, instead it looked like a cheap knock off of Asgard.
I am normally pretty easy going when it comes to super hero movies, but, this was a really poor effort.

The hurt locker, really enjoyed it, about an american bomb disposal unit in the war on terror, 8/10

I love the scene near the end in the supermarket, how he just can't re-adjust to normal life, looking at all the cereal and doesn't know which to choose. He's been under some of the most high pressure situations life has, this simple decision just stops him in his tracks. He has no real place in regular society anymore.

Those Who Wish Me Dead - Surprisingly enjoyable action thriller with a surprisingly decent cast. I was surprised! The kid was good and not annoying, Angelina Jolie looked a bit plastic but did the job fine. 7/10

Agreed, we didn't even get to the end of it, which is very rare.

Not sure if it counts as a movie, but it's the right length... Bo Burnham Inside was great though, well worth a watch and highly recommended... personal favourite bit was with the sock puppet.

Deep Rising - which to my delight is on Now TV.

I ****ING LOVE THIS FILM.

This must have been on Sky Moviemax circa-2000 and I remember enjoying it as a young teen. It’s just as good as I remember.

In the genre of goofy monster/action flicks, this must be one of the best. Wide ensemble cast, check. Light humour, check. Epic cheese, check. Decent amount of gore, check.

It’s just the bestest. I was shouting “yes!” at the TV by the end. Ridiculous film :D

10/10 for my enjoyment.

YES! This is in my top 10 films of all time. It's just brilliant.
