From what I’ve seen from the limited clips the equipment looks dated, and their troops not the best trained.

Yes, I expect the USA alone, let alone the whole of NATO in its entiriety would beat Russia in a conventional war.

And Putin knows the West and more importantly the majority of the populace have no appetite after multiple failed wars no matter what the threat is on our ideals, only way we would have conflict is if the conflict came to us and if it did, we would be ill prepared

I suspect we would put up a good fight but ultimately be overwhelmed numbers?
