Wouldn’t the US absolutely maul the Russians in a conventional war? (without nukes or chemical weapons)

From what I’ve seen from the limited clips the equipment looks dated, and their troops not the best trained.

I've always wondered this, but when was the last time the US actually engaged in a war and did well?

Yes, I expect the USA alone, let alone the whole of NATO in its entiriety would beat Russia in a conventional war.

Exactly, Russia knew how to make giant Nuclear bombs back in the 1950`s and they are clearly dirty liars who kept Novachok nerve agent and god knows what other nasties.

And Putin knows the West and more importantly the majority of the populace have no appetite after multiple failed wars no matter what the threat is on our ideals, only way we would have conflict is if the conflict came to us and if it did, we would be ill prepared

going off topic but I find it interesting in the same way of asking how would a bear fare against a lion but not actually wanting to see it.

How would the UK do against the Russians in a conventional war 1 v 1?

I suspect we would put up a good fight but ultimately be overwhelmed numbers?
