Came in to this thread hoping to read comments about how good McLaren and Russell were but expecting the obsessives to go on about Verstappen instead, colour me surprised.
Think I'll use Twitter in future to read about races when I miss one.
Max lives rent free in their head still it would seem.

If teams can see that staying out until the end because the hard is still performing well enough then of course they'd end up not pitting as we saw in today's race that was a possible strategy. There would be few races where it would be viable but teams absolutely would extend a run if the data stacks up. The rule is good because it encourages teams to be more 'racey' and push their tyres rather than spend a whole race in tyre saving mode. I know what all fans would rather watch.
