** HERE COME ASUS WITH THEIR 4K 28" OFFERING!! **

dunno ocuk received mine today so goodness knows. Not heard anything from asus personally yet. Knowing my luck ocuk will be unable to replicate the problem now :D

Fantastic! I hope it's 100% in tip top condition! My wallet is burning into my leg, and I need myself some 4K love. Especially now that there's a range of HiDPI settings in OSX for me. :D

If any issues let me know and I will sort. :)

However you guys should realise when it comes to a monitor RMA you should always contact the manufacturer, as monitors generally have on-site warranties so you call them and they will collect/replace the monitor for you. :)

I did that with Asus on one of these monitors, they didn't even have the model on the database. The guy on the phone was trying to help but simply couldn't do anything that was not on his preset scripted list. That was the moment I realised I didn't want a replacement but a refund.

Asus are a complete joke for support.

yeah gibbo i contacted asus first and they were damn useless pretty much same experience icdp had, they didn't have the monitor listed and after taking the serial number i got asked "what brand is it?" After them being useless i rang ocuk.
So it's not the fact we don't realise. On here the only ones i have seen go through ocuk are because we have had to not through choice.

I thought the monitor was excellent apart from the DP 1.2 signal loss issues.

In games the 4k was very sharp and impressive. I could live with the poor colours, I could live with the variation in colour and brightness and I could live with the very poor Windows and app support for 4K.

Jus that poor signal loss issue at 60Hz DP 1.2
