Anyone had any success with wallets that have come through Kickstarter? I need a new wallet and like some of the design ideas I've seen on there. Certainly wouldn't object to a much slimmer wallet than my current one.

Had two wallets through kickstarter.
In fact vast majority of projects have been fine, one was over a year late, but they got there in the end(not a wallet). Just got to treat it like ebay. Read it, follow updates, read comments and if you feel uneasy cancel. remember kickstarter you're not buying a product, your supporting a start up and getting a gift.

Haven't always liked the final product, but tbh that's no different for me than buying stuff from say amazon.

I've had two. Both opposite ends of the scale!

One was total dross, could have got a 4 year old to do better, terrible stitching, terrible design (as in wouldn't actually fit a card in the wallet!!) etc - just ended up in the bin after 10 mins.

Other one is superb - used daily for the last year and it's great. Can't fault it. I've got a couple of other wallets backed on kickstarter -

Orginally on kickstarter and now into v2/3 I believe.

Brilliant for the US when I don't want a bulky one with shorts for walking around theme parks

I went for the Mini Max and its decently made and fine provided you don't carry too many coins (access to the coin section it tight), it holds the notes perfectly fine.
