I saw floating around that the build in most of the videos is from 2019-2020
So two years old as a minimum, potentially even three with what is likely to be another two years minimum development time as I fully expect an autumn 2024 release. If that build is two years old I’d say that is quite advanced. You always build under the hood before adding the shiny bits and it seems much of what’s under the hood could and likely has been carried over from V and more likely RDR2. Despite what others think, I’m actually a little bit impressed.

Just a thought about the picture above, could the driver revision being used actually date the footage? Surely you’d expect most Developer rigs to be quite cutting edge? If they’re running 2080 Supers than it certainly suggests two to three year old footage.

I wouldn't even be surprised if R* release this on last gen consoles i.e. ps 4 and xbox one first given their love for ensuring everyone across all platforms can double, triple, quadruple dip  If so, expect the game to be held back or/and optimised very heavily.

Footage has been from various cards. I've seen a 3080 and a 1080 being tested

And the solution is, get a 3070Ti !!!

Prominent leaker @harukaze5719 [the 5719th of his name] told Twitter he spotted a new listing among of bunch of other cards. It is listed as a ‘GV-N307T GAMING OC ST-16GD’ this would be a Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC graphics card with 16GB of VRAM.

The RTX 3070 Ti version is limited to 8GB of video RAM which is the same amount as the RTX 3070 so this is a major memory upgrade.

Well at least this thread will keep going given the amount of people who'll be sticking to their 3080s now

So have we got a new title that needs more than 10gb vram yet? :D

You know the best thing that came out of it today is the sales overall will be so poor for 40 series that the devs will have to make sure 8GB and 10GB cards still play nice with their games or they will never sell the games.

Also the value of 30 series has settled now as once the real reviews are out all the 2x 4x and 5 x claims will be proven BS and again DF will play innocent to being Nvidia shills as was jays2cents today shilling hard for nvidia, well he better do his other company that he shilled for now doesn't make graphics so he will shill their psus and motherboards and anything else they may make.

Honestly pretty naff day today from Nvidia from BS transistor counts to Gameworks behaviour again to artificially nerf previous gen, they can stick it really. Come on AMD show us all what you are made of, but I think I know the answer with your gpus sadly with Nvidias behaviour today.

Poor showing from Nvidia today. They want £950 for a damn 12GB 4070…

This will be another Turing gen by the looks of it. Let’s see what AMD will have to offer. Not holding my breath though. Lisa will release a 16GB 7700 XT for £899 and say oh look, 4GB extra and £50 cheaper. Yeah no thanks to that either :D
