Don't know if I'll be getting next gen as I got myself a 65S95B QD Oled a few weeks ago, I could have bought the cheaper Alienware QD Oled, but sometimes you just have to go for bigger and better.:p
Been beating myself up over LG OLEDs recently, but still a bit pricey for my tastes. Waiting on Black Friday to see if any deals come about. The 48 incher would suit me fine for gaming.

RIP 8gb cards, GTA VI on a 2080 Super

So I've seen the video and what I find interesting is the really high resolution of the road textures and a building earlier vs everything else. If the road texture is the final level of fidelity they want to achieve then this game is going to look amazing once it is complete. Also interesting to note the lack of NPCs and vehicles in the clip.

But obviously the low resolution textures of the road furniture and the protagonist aren't final and it's a good thing that nobody here thinks they are.

Textures might not be optimised, we have no idea where they are in the project or what build pipeline this is on.

I don't think anyone is taking this seriously with regards to vram consumption or I would certainly hope not anyway :o

Optimisation is always the last thing that gets worked on, not to mention this is probably still years away, at least for PC, knowing r*, expect current gen consoles to get this then the remaster for the next gen consoles then after that, PC will finally get the re-re-master version :D
