That's fine, I think @gpuerrilla and I are pretty much on the same page from the history of posts, I don't need an entourage.

Very much so. Even if wedges are attempted to make divisions I think anyone with half a brain can deduce what nexus is all about once they have a 'discussion' with him on the gpu forum. Happy to engage with any adults or posters that are open to change their mind or share good information.

There is no way you can run the same settings i am at 1440P, my 2070 Super just about averages 60 FPS and it is no less than 2X as fast.
I'm 100% certain I'm not running the same settings you are at 1440. But I am running Ultra textures, max anisiptropic filtering (16x from memory?) and 2x MSAA and it doesn't have a memory problem on a 6GB card nor does it have any artefacts, so I don't think the game textures are the problem.

For those folks, as long as it suits the man with an axe to grind view point and you don't come prepped with actual "evidence", you'll do just fine

MSAA is very poor in the game and did cause a number of artifacts in my experience (not on the road but for foliage), much better of using the new TAA.

For what it's worth, 3080 only cost me about £320 after I sold on my 290, vega 56 and COD (well it was considerably less as I also sold on my ps4 pro with a bundle of games but I don't really count that), didn't want to mine on the 3080 as don't want any cheeky offers down the line ;)

To get back on topic of "vram zOMG!"

Pakistan will tax GPUs based on VRAM capacity, seriously

The Pakistani system might tax an aging flagship GPU like the 24GB Titan RTX much higher than the more powerful 3070. Of particular note is the 12GB mid-range RTX 3060, which would trigger the same duty as the far beefier RTX 3080 Ti, which also has 12GB of VRAM. The 3070 — usually a rank above the 3060 — has only 8GB.

So everyone is happy that 10GB Vram is enough?

For the past two years as I predicted it has been fine in all but a few cases. Going forward? I think you may be fine up to summer next year when a bunch of new titles should be coming out (at least ones I am interested in anyway).

I will likely upgrade when next gen cards are out so will end up with 12 or 16GB card which should be fine yet again in all but a few cases until the next set of cards are out at which point I can reevaluate then. Hard to tell now what unreal engine 5 games will be needing and when they will start releasing, but current consoles only have have 16GB which acts as both ram and vram so one would think 16GB will be safe going forward :)

Don't know if I'll be getting next gen as I got myself a 65S95B QD Oled a few weeks ago, I could have bought the cheaper Alienware QD Oled, but sometimes you just have to go for bigger and better.:p
