Yes, there's a few videos of 3080 users at 4K maximum settings on YouTube and their textures are all really low resolution.

The funny thing is, they don't even realise that they are playing with such low quality textures all over the screen. :D

This is encoded at 4K quality.

"Apparently" people with 3090's are getting this too so it may not be a VRAM issue but rather an issue with the game playing nice with Nvidia cards.

Yeah that's quite bad lmao

That's how it should look, and this was only encoded at 36Mbps.

No stuttering either, unlike Digital Foundry who are using a Intel 10900K to try and bench high end GPUs. :D

9900K? thats quite bad for benchmarking high end GPUS lol, even a "low budget ish" 5600x or 11600k, would be better options ahah

Just when you thought Digital Foundry's credibility could not get any lower, have a look at this.

What's wrong with this picture? Answers on a postcard, spoiler, there's a lot lot wrong.

Never trusted those guys anyways. Always seem to favour Nvidia stuff. Can’t take them seriously.

Wow those textures are nasty on the 3080. The speedo in particular looks 1999 quality, but it's everywhere, the road, the bonnet, the hat, probably more as I'm looking at this on a phone.
If DF didnt mention it that's terrible journalism.

@Poneros

:D

I've been on the fence regards all this as I feel both cards are good but I have to admit that is taking the wee wee ! Is this DF's doing or the actual card/driver issue ?
