Tis with a heavy heart I tactically voted Labour, to keep the Conservatives out.

Not to mention our Lib Dem candidate was actually running for a council position a few constituencies over and had no intention of representing us here!

You do realise that voting for any of the parties except for Tory would have done :p

Not how it works. It's not like voting for a president. My constituency is split right down the middle Labour/Conservative. By voting Labour I make it more likely for Labour to win, and send an MP to parliament, rather than the Conservatives.

Hmm someone swaped over labour for lib dem so votes are messed up now arnt they? Plus it has italics for labour when it should be lib dems as thats who i voted for.

The polls riged i tell ya. Tho in more fav of lib dems but still. lol

I voted Conservatives, but according to this poll I voted Liberal Democrats  I guess I accidentally selected the wrong one earlier.

Edit: I think it's because the choices were rearranged to reflect colour, but the votes didn't get rearranged along with the choices. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's correct.
Although the total of votes per party is correct those who voted before the shuffling may find a different party in italics for them, some things can't be changed:)

Just had a thought.

According to this blog post (http://www.clickymedia.co.uk/2010/04/uk-facebook-user-statistics-april-2010/) there are 25 million users of Facebook in the UK. Very roughly if you take off 5 million users who are ineligible to vote (under age) that's a potential army of 20 million voters. Of that number, the official 'I voted' counter is sitting at 800,000.

Of course it's only half way through the day, most people are still at work and a lot of people won't be bothered to check the 'I voted' button, but that's still a depressingly low turnout.

Labour, dont trust Cameron or Clegg, both a pair of very smarmy gits. I am working class and under Labour I personally have never been better off and my kids school is doing very well.... does it for me

if Gordon Brown is nothing at least he is honest and lets be frank, any government would have struggled recently with the economic climate, eu influences etc etc!!!!!!!

Lib Dem. I'm fed up of FPTP and don't mind most of their other policies so they got my vote this time.

I reckon Labour probably gives me the best chance of being in a job this time next year but I think they needed bringing down a peg or two.

Conservative would have been a wasted vote around these parts. Plus I'm certain that most of my colleagues, including me, won't be in a job next year if they form a majority government.

Brown? Honest? He's certainly incompetent I'll give you that.

I agree although still not as incompentent as the last outgoing tory party. This time the apathy is nowhere near as bad as 97 hence why Brown still has the ability to cling on by his fingertips.

I just don't think enough people actually believe Cameron, to me he comes across like an estate agent. If he gets in it's because the options this time are so limited, no one actually knows enough about any of what they will do.

I wouldn't put much store on a Facebook clicky thingy. And I suspect, but don't know, that more votes are cast between 6pm and 10pm than at any other time.

Oh I agree re Cameron (and the outgoing Torys), just querying calling him honest :).

I voted Conservative, don't agree with everything of their manifesto but I think the local candidate would be the best for my constituency (lives local etc). I doubt she'll win though.
