2013/14 Pre-season Friendly Thread

Boss is out so I've snuck this on my second monitor, will properly watch the second half though. Kagawa seems to have started well, isn't sticking out left at all which is good.

It's where he plays for Japan and drifts infield more often than not, Klopp was just having a dig when he was moaning about where to play him.
 
He never really 'stuck out left' under Fergie either, just before anyone thinks it's anything new :p.

His best position is still behind the striker though, he only plays there for Japan because of Honda.

Oh poppycock, for a start I wouldn't expect a 17 year old making his senior debut to make such a stupid error. On top of this, this is hardly something new for Smalling to do. I've said numerous times that he's calamitous, the reason I say it is that he does stuff like that.
 
That was a cracking dive. Good to see that hasn't left Young since his injury.
