***2015 Powerlifting Total Thread***

Another improvement for me, I'm now above my 2014 total, which seemed a long way off 2 months ago:

Hopefully i can keep this run going for a little longer, I'm still confident I can reach 600kg this year.

Was hard, next to no warm up then opened on 300, then 5 mins later pulled 310 then 2 mins later failed 315.
Only to be told bar weight didn't include the 2.5kg collars so I pulled 305 then 315 and failed 320 lol.
Some more time and is have pulled 320kg I'm sure

Aim this year is to get squats back to 140 and increase it, bench at least BW and increase/improve the deadlift.

So basically get better at everything.

2015 bench PB is 100kg for a single but I've just done 97.5kg x 5 so I should be approaching my lifetime best soon. Squats/deads some way off.

Belted 210 looked pretty good, and gratz on the 215 PB :)

I'll add myself to this - bench and squat are 'calculated' - wont be able to test them properly for a little while (gym closure) and I'd rather get another cycle going than delay for some more accurate tests.

>4x my bodyweight. Not great, but not terrible considering how long Ive been lifting.
 
Bench: 185kg

Aiming to get close to 200kg this year. Go down with 195 and it moves up about 4-5inches then hangs.

Squat: 225kg (B)

Aiming for a 250kg this year and being helped by a lad who does amateur strongman

Deadlift: 265kg (B) (and can hold this at the top for 17seconds)

With any luck should be pulling the magic 600lb by the end of August (272.5kg)

Total: 675kg

Will be hoping to be part of the 700+kg club
