Anyone ever get kernal power failure event id 41 error codes from random system reboots? my 5950x has PBO on which is running supposedly stable settings and it passes validation in stress tests but then the PC randomly reboots and starts posting while the PC is just idling at desktop

Try disabling c-states and see how it goes.
Have exactly the same issue. Tried everything I can to solve it. Gave up in the end & turned PBO off for now until the bios gets updated
out of interest, what motherboard and bios?

Sounds like curve optimiser settings that are not quite stable.Anyone ever get kernal power failure event id 41 error codes from random system reboots? my 5950x has PBO on which is running supposedly stable settings and it passes validation in stress tests but then the PC randomly reboots and starts posting while the PC is just idling at desktop

You'll get c states in bios under advanced settings. Did a Google last night and seemed to sort this issue for some. Think it was to do with maybe older psus and the super low draw of these chips when power saving.
