5800X Boost set to 5050Mhz all cores with AMD Curve Optimizer

I cant seem to get as high as some scores I've seen but for me this feels fast enough. Very stable.

5800X on Strix X470 with 32GB(4x8) @3800
PBO F-max disable
PBO w/Auto
PBO Limits Motherboard
Scalar x10
Auto OC 175Mhz

Put my curve at:
Rank/Core
6th/Core0 -20
2nd/Core1 -5
1st/Core2 -10
5th/Core3 -20
8th/Core4 -30
3rd/Core5 -15
7th/Core6 -30
4th/Core7 -15

Update: ran CB R23 1650/15859

Nice. What cooling are you using and what temps after a few runs of Cinebench R20? I can't see you mentioning the cooler being used and temps are cannot be seen on the above image

Can confirm it works fine on regular hero. 9k r20 without pbo offset just by setting - 30 all core. (did this with 2 different 5900x). Single core ends up lower (610) but can bring this back up with pbo and reducing neg curve. (balancing)

this happened to me too. A windows reinstall got CO working again. I suspect it was something to do with Ryzen Master

Custom loop with 5800X and Vega64 being cooled. In CB 20 temps max out at 78-79c. I have Memtest running right know to check some timings/setting I changed and with all 16 threads loaded this is what I'm getting:

Nice. 1.456V all core, won’t that cook the poor 5800X chip though, even under the cust water loop?

Quite possible the clocks will come down as the chip degrades at that voltage.

The only question is how long will it take to degrade, that depends on the silicon lottery and luck - some people will be able to run like that for a year or more, some 3 months

Did a bit of testing in rise of the tomb raider today. My PBO settings are providing a nice lift in performance - 5950x stock with default bios setup, I observed clocks between 4.4 and 4.5ghz and with PBO I observed between 4.6 and 4.9ghz.

This game doesn't hit all the cores though, so I may find in a better threaded game that the clock diffrence grows wider

Anyone know of a game that can hit all 16 cores for testing?

Its just the Memtest that gets the voltage up that high due to the load and threads. Doing everyday task and gaming its much lower(avg.1.382v)because it varies some much. It stays cool and I never had issues with my 3700X at those voltages so not worried.

Depending on the game I avg. 4.875-5.00ghz Most hang around 4.9-4.925ghz. I could push the single core performance higher but then heavy multi core suffers.

5.125ghz light load(gaming, surfing, basic stuff)
4.5-4.55ghz heavy load(rendering, multi task, etc.) suffers.

Settting I have now give me both:

5.0ghz light load
4.7ghz heavy load

Gaming at 1440p I dont notice any difference between 5.125 vs 5.0 vs 4.85ghz so its more or less numbers/benching thing.

Found some programs running in back ground (steam, epic) making temps run higher and taking up cpu cycles. And tweaked setting alittle more.

Close everything you can apart from hwinfo64 before benchmarking. I noticed reduced scores having things open too

It’s more noticable latency testing with dram calc / aida64

Shuttting down epic game launcher made biggest difference:

Idle Before:
CPU- 44.2c
CPU CCD- 33.1c

Idle After:
CPU- 28.9
CPU CCD- 27.1

Been like over 10 days I think and just got a random reboot -5 All Core... hope it's not something else. Idk how the **** I'm supposed to narrow anything down when it takes weeks of 24/7 use for anything wrong to happen.
Better be fine now that it's going back to just being disabled or I don't know what changes to make and then wait like a month to even know if it helped, all reboots happened basically idle
I think that's related to AGESA that were released since 5000series. Plenty of people had resets at idle, for various motherboard manufacturers. I had them with 3900x and reducing memory to 3200 stopped them, but some other people on forums sorted it with various voltages, some people hasn't sorted it etc. I could normally run my memory @3733 without resets.

So I updated my B550 Tomahawk BIOS and now CineBench single core doesn't boost above 4800, it's like the +200mhz or whatever you set doesn't work anymore
Wtf?...
Check clocks, score looks like it stopped boosting completely and runs at default 3.6 or whatever speed.
