~2 hours of nothing but grey sky and the north sea :p

Oh and dundee, a sight enough to tip anyone over the edge.

They're both using slack timings and low speeds what's annoying, god knows how Raikiri is faster than you considering you're both using SB.

My aim is to at least beat Paul :D

Oh it's on :D

I've tried on both sb and ivy,1600mhz to 2250mhz,sure has me scratching my head lol,I'm gonna grab some of that magical Kingston memory,I think that's the secret

There is something odd going on, if we were doing this bench @5.0ghz, I would expect to be right up there with the normal SB systems matching them clock for clock. Unfortunately @4.0ghz the SB systems seem to pull away with ease.

I've got a friend half hour down the road with a 3570k, my brother who has a 2500k. Might have a play on my brothers computer on my day off see what kind of times i can get with that. Doubt i'll get time to bother my mate and mess with his computer to see if i can get sub 8m.

Besides, got my X79 buddies to play with instead :D :D

I think Kingston memory should be disallowed;)

I don't think which brand makes much difference, really. I'll test that theory if someone wants to lend me some different brand/speed (2400Mhz+ please) ;)

Although MonsterMoshi is using HyperX as well so maybe I'm talking out of my arse. It has been known.

My spare 2400 kit is hyperx I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Another tip for guys trying for the top, open task manager and shut down everything you don't need. In the old days I even did fresh installs of windows to get the best results
