Yes, but there's some interesting stuff being developed (such as a lighter, plastic cartridge for a faster, amour piercing round), and lighter guns with the easier to use bullpup configuration. There's a Youtube channel called Task & Purpose where they've been able to try out a lot of the stuff that's currently being tendered for the next-gen soldier program.

There's a difference between leaving Afghan and they way they left, it won't be forgotten. Most are happy to leave, but aren't happy in the way it was done.

You can't force people out and the US has no idea how many US citizens are actually there. They don't have to report to the US embassy when they arrive. Just as our government has no idea exactly how many British citizens are still there. They've had months to get out, if they left it to the last second then they are idiots.

What was the alternative? Leave them there to face their fate? Then he gets criticised for that and pictures/video of people being killed are thrown at him. This is a no win scenario, a portion of the country hits him if he leaves them, another portion is probably praying for an attack so they can hit him.

Well you seem to have a problem with this guy arriving. How about the new Taliban leader that Trump got Pakistan to free from jail as part of his surrender to the Taliban. Or the 5000 prisoners. You are equally outraged by that right? Or are you just a hypocrite?

The Somalian pirates issue got "fixed", they just allowed ships to carry armed security lol. After a few of them got filled with holes and left for the sharks it sort of died down.
