There seems to be increasing disillusionment with the current administration the way they are kind of acting at a distance, etc. which is a large part of why Trump even had a chance the first time and will likely see increased movement towards alternative options next time.

Why did the US not blow all this stuff up by grouping it together in one compound?

A good chunk of it was Afghan forces stuff which was rapidly acquired by the Taliban - in some cases whole bases just deserted.
Because it's Afghan kit, not owned by the US. The US took their weapons with them, and disabled any aircraft they left behind.

Should have leased it, poor contract terms to allow it to pass to a different occupation.

That's missing the point, if it was the US's then it would have been theirs to do what they like with.
A lot of the equipment are hand-me-downs, HMMWVs and M16A2s, stuff the US doesn't use any more or is phasing out. They don't want it back. I presume your proposal is for the US to launch thousands of air strikes to try and destroy stuff? For what benefit?
The Taliban have already 'won', and they used their existing equipment to do it.
