Have you used it yet? Any good? Finally caved after the new price cap news, and realising that our 3kw oven is one for an hour pretty much every day.
Got the Cosori 5.5l 1700W model, after doing loads of research, and only paid £95.
Spooky, it got delivered 30 minutes ago, and just did some frozen fries and chicken strips.Have you used it yet? Any good?

Perfectly cooked in 12 minutes at 180ºC, which would normally be 20 minutes in the oven at 200ºC, so a saving both in time and wattage.
I haven’t a clue when it comes to cooking times and air fryers tbh.
I wish they would state times for air fryers on the packaging as a fan assisted oven does not appear to be quite the same.
I found this ‘cheat sheet’ but it doesn’t cover everything. Might be of interest to others in my position

Yes its annoying no times/temps for air fryers. Something I bought the other month did have air fryer cooking instructions on it, first and only thing I've seen with it. Can't think what it was now, may have been proper chips or something from Ocado.I haven’t a clue when it comes to cooking times and air fryers tbh.

I need to have a good read through this thread, but could I kindly ask for some recommendations please.
Our currrent oven is 15 years old, and has seen better days. It's always dirty, and the seals are broken so not very efficient!!
If I tried to replace as much cooking as possible with an air fryer (or maybe two) what should I be looking at?
I'm worried they aren't big enough for things like roast chickens or pizzas, and will end up being used for cooking chips and not much else.
We do veg in the Microwave, and use our gas hob a fair amount, but I know our oven must be hitting the electric bill quite hard.
oh, we're a family of four.
Thanks!!
