Next to the Eclipse is an old Lian Li PC60 that I'm currently throwing a full set of Noctua's into and turning into a server. Poweredge 1400 behind, Compaq on the bottom shelf acting as current web server and old P4-2400 Dell hanging off the left-hand monitor.

Can't get a decent photo out of my SPV M600, so gonna grab a couple of handhelds from work with better pixels/lenses.

Crikey  Fantastic job on your kitchen, you must have worked all hours to get it finished 10/10 M8... Excellent setup :D

Looks great Tetsu. Got a golfball in the Kama?, also, not enough room to turn the Kama vertical? Just think it'll help shift any high/hot air away from the drives quicker.

The mirage has a kama and its an intake just the stock fan. keeps the raptor at 25-27c which is all it need it to do. The omega (top one) is just passivly cooled and there's no optical drives in it so the air rises on its own perfectly and keeps the raptor at 28-30c which is awesome! All that's in the 5.25 bay is the hdd drive. I had a plan to mount a 140mm sharkoon 5.25 bay fan below the hdd blowing up but there's no point as the temps i'm getting are perfect and the rest of the rig runs very cool.

GPU idles at 46-48c lovely!

Your rig is looking sweet btw.

Slight update with my case.

The other day when playing a couple of games noticed that the top panel was very warm. I opened her up and felt the heat which was trapped at the top.

I have a Seasonic S12 500w PSU which draws air in through the bottom and only have a couple of vents at the rear of the unit. The PSU was giving off a little of the heat but most of it was rising from the main chamber of the case. I have front and rear 120mm fans.

I decided to make a blow hole in the top of the case. I used a 120mm Antec 3 speed which is currently set to 'Low' and very quiet.

The whole case now feels much cooler. When I'm benchmarking or playing games the heat coming from the top is very warm. According to my fan/temp monitor case temps have dropped 5c.

:)

Will upload some photos asap.

Wish I had the tools to do that, that top panel does get quite warm. Thing that also worries me is that if the top panel is warm then god knows how hot the PSU is getting, cooling a hot PSU with hot air is not very good but so far no problems so I guess it must be designed for that.

A welcome addition to this case has always been a top exhaust fan... the Akasa Omega top panel should now be included with all Eclipses...

I agree with that totally. Side vent is ok, I got rid of mine but the top vent is superb. Mine gets used passively and without it the temps of my hard drives and the top of the case are a fair bit higher.

Just finished properly braiding the sata cables.

Looks great, nice braiding job. Luckily i had a pile of black sata cables left over from my borked evga 680i mobo. Black certainly looks better:) ps Tetsu what model of sharkoon silent eagle's are those, 1000 or the 2000 rpm version and what are they like for noise/cooling. Thanks.
