Akasa Eclipse 62's Club... Desktop & Machines.

They are both 1000's and I have a 2000 on the front drawing air in. Now the 1000's are very very quite and the 2000's are nosiey as you like.

I added one of these - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-006-GE

to the front connector as I have it going straight up the back and connecting to the psu this takes the fan down to around 1700 rpm and the noise different takes it down a noise category if you know what I mean. Sounds very good now and cooling hasn't been noticeably effected.

The fans are great and the fact they come perfectly braided is a bonus

I've just decided to put my wheels on my Eclipse as its now sitting on the floor, but i cant seem to find the box with the screws in. Does anyone know what screws they are fitted with so i can try to source some more. Cheers ;)

Ahh nice job, im looking at ordering a few of the se 2000 models to use on my TRUE120 in push/pull to replace my current 1500rpm arctic pwm fans. is it ok to run 2 fans like theese of the mobo 3 pin headers.

Update : Just about to shift the 2 500GB F1's up top using those black Akasa heat-spreaders, then adding 2 Akasa HDD coolers (the 2 fan kind). That'll take it up to 15 fans moving air. :D

Mate, they are just normal coarse *sp?! screws. You will need 4 per wheel. :)

hey Tetsu, i've just decided i'm gonna swap my Eclipse for an Omega, just wonderin what material this bit is made of, as it looks like i'd have to cut it so i can install a fan controller in the 3.5 bay

(JUST SOME RANDOM PIC FROM GOOGLE)

I cut that exact bit out on my old Mirage, as I mounted two Xilence 3.5" fan controllers in there. Just used a sharpe knife for it.

so i was browsing the web looking for some ideas for when my Omega comes on tuesday and came across this, IMO this is probly one of the best ones i've seen. love the Orange on Black.

well my Omega arrived today, and its broken :( the securing tabs have snapped off the front panel and the side grill. Now i have to wait to get a new one. Really impresed with the way the new design front panel looks tho.
