Akasa Eclipse 62's Club... Desktop & Machines.

Case isn't that big to change... shame it was a very good build...:) Be interesting to see the workstation.

Its just a desk from ikea but the pc is just too big. I could put it on the floor but I just dont like the idea of that. Also my next build will be just as sweet. Going to put it all into a pc-a05 fits everything i've got. I originally wanted a small case but couldnt find anything that would fit a atx mobo and all the bits I wanted and still have good cooling. Until I saw the Lian Li pc-a05. Once I fitted a top exhasut it will be spot on for my needs.

Part of this is also as it will please the wife. My PC desk and stuff is in the bedroom and I really need to make it as small as possible. Given that I already have an entire room of custom made gym equipment :D

I'll get some pics up when its all done though :)

Couple of pics...

Are they the standard fans that come with the case (on the rear120mm) or did you put them in yourself? And if so was it because the fans that came with the case weren't quiet enough?

I'm going to have to down size my PC case guys as my new workstation area is just too small. Bit of an oversite really but oh well.

Going to be selling my Omega on MM (£60). :(

Get to do a re-build though :D

sold i'll take it when it's in the mm of course

The Akasa Eclipse 62 does not come with any fan's, but the one in the back of that 62 is a Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 Sound: 19.0 dB(A)Air flow: 36.8 CFM or Sharkoon Silent Eagle 2000 Sound: 36.1 dB(A)Air flow: 76.4 CFM

my Eclipse came with 2 fans pre installed, as did my Omega. fans were of ok quality, i like to change all my fans for the Skarkoons just because i like how they look.

Okay my bad, but i mine din't in which case some fool stole mine got it from some where else not OC.
I'd sick with the Akasa AK-174BKT-B 120mm Auto Thermal Sensor for the back and Akasa AK-183-L2B Amber for the front, More air flow than the Skarkoons and Quieter.

Well if you want the first offer mate its yours. I'm chucking in a zalman hdd cooler so you can use the 5.25" bay as a place for a drive.

The side panel is solid and not the one that comes with it. There isnt a single mark external or internal apart from a small one on the rear side right hand panel where the thumb screws go.

the front ports will need screwing back in and the fans are just some new lian li fans.

I will get some pics posted.

also the front header cables are braided :D

will be ready to post tomorrow just getting it boxed up as we speak.

Are the Sharkoons better than Noctua fans?

About 4cm. The pc-a05 is an incredible case, so small yet loads of room for work and components.

I went for silver though this time as black lain li's are so easy to scratch.

I will have to post my new Lian Li Armorsuit PC-P60B Aluminium Midi-Tower Case build...:D Had it up and running for a couple of weeks now and very happy with the results... The black models look very stealthy  haven't had any issues with scratches, as all the Lian Li panels and case have been treated to prevent this, I suppose any case is prone to scratches depending on how its been treated. Will post loads pics at weekend ;) * Will post pics in seperate thread to keep this thread solely Akasa Eclipse/Mirage & Omega* :)

The black lian li's definatly scratch the easiest as they have the finest finish i've seen. And then they are silver underneath. Having said that if you're careful during the build then its not a problem.

The pc-60 has got sweet internals, i've build in one myself.
