I dont think it was a comic I think it was one of the books, possibly by Alan Dean Foster as I remember the Aliens actually get to Earth.

Dont mention Alien v Predator 2 aggghhhh.

edit: scratch that it was the Dark Horse comics but in book form although 7 or 8 where turned into novels. (Aliens: Earth War direct sequel to Aliens film where Earth is infected by Aliens and Hicks/Ripley/Newt were the original main characters ?)

The first two have an "Alien" set feel to them which could be good but the last pic just doesn't look good to me. Their hands have always been two outer fingers/thumbs and two pairs of joined fingers in the middle, not this very human looking Alien hand, however it could be something else I suppose.

I've seen those images before. I'm gonna make an educated guess nd say that hand IS NOT the hand of the alien. Have you seen the leaked pics of the engineers fighting with something? Looks like they've been turned to stone. Of course those could be placeholders for SFX.

Was reading some info about this movie - see I absolutely Loved prometheus; hoping the next one would be a continuation of the last 2 survivors (android included); but doesnt sound like it.

Still looking forward to it thou.

Michael Fassbender & Noomi Rapace will both be in the movie. Fassbender will *likely* be portraying 2 different androids. It's been stated that the original Prometheus David will be on the planet the Covenant visits.

I also wonder how the name Covenant will be important to the movie?

I like the theory that:

David '8' some how takes over the new David creating a possible jekyll and hyde situation add the xenomorph into the mix = CARNAGE!!!

I`m not spamming use some intelligence.

The above "fake" trailer is relevant because if you look at 1 min 40 seconds you will see a creature (that I believe is from P1) that has a very similar hand to the one from the pre-production shot in the spoiler. Therefore it could be an alien that appears in P2.
