20th cent Fox has posted a pic from the new Alien Covenant. Looks like a human security force attempting to hunt down an Alien? We all know how that will turn out! Also they have posted a cryptic clue which one person has deciphered as this Thursday for the first trailer to drop. Lets hope they decoded it right!

It seems Fox will release either a teaser for the trailer, or the trailer in full on December 22nd at 12:05!

The code just translates to the date 10 years after Prometheus was set, it was decoded pretty fast over at reddit.

Actually fairly impressed with that, lifetime Alien fan here, Alien being my favourite movie of all time.

However feels like Scott is getting a lot of inspriation from the Fire & Stone graphic novels, a lot of parallels in there.

redband trailers are meant to include more adult content, eg more gore. hence the red (not green) intro screen. They did the same with Logan and Deadpool.
its a few seconds longer not sure what difference is though.

Im looking forward to this movie.
I love the series and i have some of the Dark Horse comics, including the ones were Ripy and Hicks return to earth to find Aliens have run amok and they take the fight to the Alien Home world, was epic and would have made a great action movie to follow Aliens.
